This open studio time for returning CWM artists will be an opportunity for individual and/or group critique of works-in progress and/or nearly finished paintings. I will review and demonstrate technique(s) that could resolve identified issues and move the piece(s) forward.

I will demonstrate mounting a completed painting (done on oil paper or artboard) onto a cradled wood panel and share some pointers that I discovered the hard way. I will discuss the use of float framing and some additional tips to ready your masterpiece for display.

Students attending the full-day introductory session on Jan.12th are also invited to return with their paintings to learn some of the additional techniques that can be used on semi-dry surfaces.

Feel free to email me with any questions about the class or materials.

Maximum of 6 students. One 3 hour session

*To reserve your place in any class, payment must be received at the time of registration.
