Posca Pens

Posca markers are a water-based paint marker for all materials and all uses. As long as the paint is wet, colors can be mixed on the work surface by blurring with the tip or a brush to create infinite gradations of color. If the tip is stained, just clean it and re-prime the marker to restore the initial color. Dense and opaque, Posca paint is ideal for layering! Dark colors can be applied over light colors or light colors over dark. Thanks to its fast drying time, layering can be carried out with no smudges.

Copic Markers: Copic Sketch Markers

Copic Sketch markers are alcohol-based, equipped with both a soft brush nib and a chisel nib. They are ideal for rendering, design, animation, graphic novel illustration, manga, fine art and craft projects. They will bleed through some papers and function best on ultra smooth card. Faber Castell PITT Pen Sets

Arguably the highest quality markers on the market. Filled with 100% lightfast, water-based india ink, they won't fade under UV light unlike other artist grade markers. Faber Castell PITT pen sets come in a variety of color selections in the small brush size, or with finer pens for technical illustration. Can be used over or under light washes and won't bleed through most papers. The more absorbent the paper, the grainier the effect will be. We recommend Canson XL marker paper and smooth bristol. Not refillable.

Micron Pens

Microns are a necessity of any illustrator's toolbox. These fineliner technical pens are filled with archival india ink which does not fade or bleed under watercolor washes. The felt tip will produce consistent, skip-free lines when used with a light hand (no pushing!) Available in a range of nib sizes, individually or in sets.

Tombow Dual Brush Pens

Tombow Dual Brush Pens have two nibs: one fineliner and one larger brush, which is springy and allows for a wide range of naturalistic stroke sizes. Their color is saturated and bright, and can be blended with water; they're always fun to use. They're perfect for fine art and craft projects, journaling, coloring books, and field work.
